Construction Upgrades
Alternate Dwellings also offer a range of upgrade options beyond our standard inclusions that allow you to customise your home to just how you want it. From window styles to glass and deck timber it's easier than ever before to construct your dream home just the way you want it.
Windows
We offer Plain Aluminium Sliding windows as standard on all our designs with the option to upgrade to Timber Colonial Awning, Casement or Double Hung.
Glazing
All our windows are fitted with standard single glazed panes but we also offer the popular Comfort Plus range from Viridian. With excellent insulation and UV benefits as well as reducing noise this is a popular glazing option. Visit the Viridian site for more details.
Pre-painting
We leave all our window timbers natural to preserve your options for either staining or painting. An undercoat pre-painting option is also available.
Decking
Our standard decking material is Treated Pine. We also offer deck upgrades in Silver Top Ash and Merbau.
Overlay Timber Flooring
We apply sheet flooring as a standard across all floors with the option to also install overlay flooring in both Pine and Hardwood (silver top ash, feature grade).
Pine Lining
We also offer Pine lining to ceilings and Dado pine lining to walls.
Balcony to Loft
Many of our designs can accommodate the inclusion of a balcony to the Loft that is sure draw the surrounding landscape in.
