The Alternate Dwellings Building System allows you to custom design your home from a basic shell and add the features and finish you want to match your needs and budget.
As you can see in the example below, each Building System home starts from a basic plan and adds each of the elements you require until you have the house you want.
Take this basic Highlander shell; add termite treatment, a few windows and doors, drop in a floor and you have a basic dwelling. You then finish it to your own specifications by adding a kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc...
Or if you want something a little more livable now; we can add the walls, windows, stairs, bathroom, laundry and kitchen for you and you have a perfect weekend retreat. These are some of the minimum requirements for a certificate of occupancy.
But if it’s a completed homestead to soak up the country life you’re after, then a selection from one of our existing house designs is definitely the way to go.
